Taxation
HM Revenue & Customs
We are the UK’s tax, payments and customs authority, and we have a vital purpose: we collect the money that pays for the UK’s public services and help families and individuals with targeted financial support.
We do this by being impartial and increasingly effective and efficient in our administration. We help the honest majority to get their tax right and make it hard for the dishonest minority to cheat the system.

Charities
Context
A local charity approached us to help them rebrand, refresh their website, register a new domain name and establish social media channels. We were also asked to serve on their steering committee as media consultants.
Challenge
Proposals had to pass through multiple committee reviews, which could slow down the development process, especially as most committee members are not tech-savvy. The current website and media accounts had been registered by an third party and were no longer accessible and funds were limited. The charity also needed organisational and marketing help with their Festival in a short amount of time.
Approach
We developed a strategy and presented it to the committee, creating an overall summary explaining the current issues, their vision, and detailed and costed solutions on how to achieve that vision.
From there, together with the committee, we streamlined the proposal agreeing on the main reporting stages of the project. The festival was a priority, and we organised several teams to liaise with local newspapers, radio stations, social media, and local businesses to promote the event locally.
Result
We successfully rebranded the Charity, acquired and configured a domain name with emails and passwords, and created a sleek, lightweight website that is easy to maintain with social media accounts. The event was a success, drawing in many people and gaining press and social media coverage in the local area.

SME's
Context
A client was expanding their business by acquiring two competitors, and needed their IT systems incorporated into the primary business system.
Challenge
The operation was an enormous task. The client advised we needed to exercise extreme caution because the target company’s staff were not yet aware of the takeover. There were multiple servers, data, various desktop configurations, email systems, logistics of hardware, and staff training for new systems.
Approach
We managed two technical teams on-site to understand the layout of the existing IT systems, including software used, data security, and server configurations.
Once information was gathered, we set about writing operational manuals for migrating each part of the system, pre-empting any issues. Once the company purchase.was finalised, we chose a weekend to integrate the systems. Both equipment and data transfer were completed and tested. We started on a Friday evening, working with three teams – desktops, servers, and data to maximize the days we had.
Result
All desktops, reconfigured software, printers, and emails were ready for staff at start of business on Monday morning, staff were trained in the afternoon with no incidents logged. The acquired business websites were also redirected to our clients.
